The schools and program sites featured below represent SHPEP’s participating institutions during its final 2026 cycle and are preserved as part of the program’s legacy.

SHPEP was implemented at 10 universities across the nation. Each institution provided scholars with academic enrichment in the basic sciences and math, clinical experiences, career development activities, learning and study skills seminars, and a financial planning workshop. Program sites varied in how they delivered these required components and in their program start dates.
